Gord’s first PC was a clone 486 SX33 with a whopping huge 215MB hard drive and 512k video card. These days, PCs carry CPUs that run at speeds somewhere north of 2 GHz, hard drives are a terabyte or more, video cards have multi-giabytes of memory and are new models are out multiple times per year. Components are much easier to find and cost substantially less than they used to as well.
