This just in from the New York Times. Android is very good at asking your specific permission for apps to do things with your privacy. It’s a really good idea to pay attention to these requests and deny the ones that don’t make sense.

The start-up Alphonso collects viewing data for advertisers through mobile gaming apps that can track users on the devices’ microphones, even when the apps aren’t in use.
